Our underground utility locating services

 can help you determine the location and depth of underground utilities before you dig, drill or design your next project. Our underground utility locators use a combination of cable and pipe locator and ground penetrating radar (GPR) technology, and a customized five step underground utility locating process to locate the following underground utility types and utility materials.

We offer our clients three different levels of service. Choose the level of service that best fits your needs.

Level 1 - Utility Markout – This is our least expensive and least complex level of service. An underground utility locating survey is performed and underground utilities are marked on the ground with colored paint and/or flags. A consultation is then performed with an onsite representative to discuss the results of the survey.

Level 2 – Utility Markout & Report – This is our middle level of service. An underground utility locating survey is performed and underground utilities are marked on the ground with paint and/or flags. A consultation is then performed with an onsite representative to discuss the results of the survey. In addition, pictures and notes are taken for documentation and the information is used to create a written report (PDF).

Level 3 – Utility Markout, Report & Map – This is our most expensive, complex and time consuming level of service. An underground utility locating survey is performed and underground utilities are marked on the ground with colored paint and/or flags. A consultation is then performed with an onsite representative to discuss the results of the survey. Next, notes are taken and the location and depth of underground utilities are sketched on an existing site map. The final product is a written report (PDF) and an updated utility map (PDF) that can be used to help design your project or used as a guide when digging or drilling.
