Utility Locating & Mapping Survey
GE Crotonville, Ossining, NY
.........................................................
Project Description
Williams Specialty Services, LLC was hired by GE to install an electrical duct bank between two existing buildings at GE Crotonville, Ossining, New York.
The utility maps provided by GE were outdated, incomplete and did not show the depth of known utilities. To solve this problem, Williams hired us to create an updated utility map. The map was then used to help design an excavation route between the two buildings. This enabled Williams to excavate with minimal disturbance to underground utilities, reduce the risk of injury and complete the project on schedule.
Testimonial:
"At the request of the engineer, we called upon Underground Surveying to locate and map underground utilities prior to excavating for the installation of a duct bank. Much to our delight they completed the project on time, within budget and enabled us to excavate without causing damage to underground utilities. I would recommend their services to anyone who must dig or drill on private property, especially when using outdated site maps or asbuilts as their only guide."
